回國兩週

旅行結束踏上飛機的剎那，覺得我的夢要結束了。不過日子照樣繼續過，時間也不會停下來等著我享受完才走，從歐洲回台灣滿兩週了，我沒有太明顯的不適應，只有瑞典和歐洲的記憶變得好不真實。

Seeking for motherland's hope: 2 Asian youths in Sweden (Part 1)

I assigned myself this final project for this exchange year to reflect all the experiences in Sweden.  I met DoHee in Umeå university.  She has written so many interesting blog posts about Sweden in Korean, so I think it would be inspiring to discuss the differences between Sweden and South Korea with her.  We did this in an interviewing way, and hope this way can make it easier for reader to follow the articles. 

We decided to work this project together to share our thoughts to all  friends from all over the world.  And of course, we would like to share all our observations to all our friends in Taiwan and South Korea.  Therefore, we are going to post a Chinese and a Korean translation version in a few weeks!  (Part 2 is also coming soon!)  Please also check DoHee's bolg post here.

Hello, Yu-Husan. Thanks for having a conversation with me to share our experiences in Sweden. Since I met you I have realized that our generation in Taiwan and South Korea have many common concerns. Can you share the reason why you came to Sweden for our blog readers?

如果說台灣的大學教學制度是把CPU的多核心計算能力分給好多好多的科目，那瑞典式的學習，就是把所有的CPU核心一次只留給一個主題。

在這裡的學習，就像泡澡一樣，打開你所有的感官，讓知識從你舒張的毛孔流入體內，讓他們帶著你一起感動。

在異國說自己的故事（上）

身為一個亞洲人，你對台灣附近的國家了解多少？
除了旅遊和美食資訊，我們還知道些什麼？

在歐洲的學校交換，體驗的都是來自歐洲各國同學們的文化，聽的都是來自歐洲各地的故事。偶而聽到有人曾到亞洲旅行，也多是覺得日本壽司很好吃，韓式料理很美味這類的感想，而關於亞洲國家的其他部分，就不是很了解，於是我們辦了這場電影工作坊，期望歐洲其他國家的同學們也能不只是了解美食，也能知道我們的國家是一個什麼樣的世界。我想「交換」的意義，在於互換經驗與想法，少了我們這群亞洲學生帶來的討論，只能算是單向的文化輸出，而達不到互相理解的程度吧！

校園裡的午間電影──Short Break

和幾位同學約好了星期三中午一起去看「場」電影。

在忙碌、壓迫的念書生活中（當然我不太算XD），能有個時間坐下來好好看個電影，逃離充滿該念的文獻與該寫的作業，跟著影像與音樂進到不同的故事裡，該是多麼棒的事啊！幸運的是，學校裡每兩三個星期就會有一個中午，在圖書館那棟大廳的講堂，提供我們看電影的機會。

來瑞典當然就是要嘗試看看 EDM (Electronic Dance Music) 囉，畢竟這裡可是 EDM 大國呢！

第一門課──社會地理學

終於完成第一門課了，為期8個星期的社會地理學，其實完全就是社會學，算是彌補了大學不曾上過社會學課的遺憾。

The plight of foreign labor in Taiwan

This article is my assignment for the course "Sweden's Social Geography". We need to pick up one phenomenon and analyze by ourselves in a viewpoint of social geographer. My topic is about the bad environment that foreign labors face in Taiwan. This is my first time to share my own writing which is not my profession (chemistry). Quite anxious about that, but I am really willing to share this issue with my friends who doesn't live in Taiwan.

Also, I found a documentary about this topic made by Alex Wolfgram, who studied master program in Taiwan, and this issue is his topic. He did not want the issue to be forgotten by people after his graduation, so he and his friend made this video in 2014. I will put the YouTube video below the article.

Fika? 如何平衡工作與生活

秋天到了。

來到瑞典以後，生活步調整個慢了下來。最驚訝的莫過於剛來時發現他們很多工作的工時真的就是剛剛好八小時，學校單位負責的國際生業務的是下午四點或五點準時結束，外面的公家單位也是很準時，商店開門時間也是標準的 10-18 ，腳踏車店也是五點以後就關門。我們剛到的第一個星期還在調侃說，這麼悠閒，房子要蓋很久才會蓋好，難怪在 Umeå 申請房屋住宿通常要等一年左右才排的到！

真的是一種吃不到葡萄，說葡萄酸的心理。

開學第一週 First week in new semester

雖然不是第一週到 Umeå，但仍然是一個充滿新鮮感的狀態。 Everything still seems very cool for me!

大概大二時就興起來申請交換學生的念頭，只是過了快四年，現在碩二了才剛要準備申請而已。
